Rekon 5 is based on the original Dave_C FPV mini remote design, this 5-inch drone is a mini longrange concept frame, suitable for carrying more loads.Like its smaller 4-inch drone, this 5-inch drone can achieve a flight time of about 25 minutes.
At the same time, it is very quiet, efficient, and relatively low cost compared to the 7 inches usually used for longrange flight.Compared with the 4-inch drone, the main advantage of the 5-inch drone is that it can carry Full Gopro and 18650 lithium batteries without affecting the flight performance and noise level. In addition, the cruising speed is increased, and the ability to do Freestyle is significantly improved.
The drone can also be used with a wide range of batteries: 4S 850-1800mAh, 6S 550-1300mAh, and if you need greater flight time, you can use a 18650 3000mah battery.

Frame design
The Rekon 5 features an innovative rack design featuring integrated front and rear arms locked by 7050 chainring screws. The screws are used to create a strong and rigid part in the center part of the frame, which locks the arms and decouples the force from the rest of the frame.
This enables the use of very light M2 screws and thin carbon fiber plates in the rest of the rack, reducing overall weight for maximum efficiency, and most importantly the chainring screws can handle higher torques and not as often happens with M2 or M3 screws break or detach easily.
The design of the front TPU camera seat and the naked gopro bracket has also received a lot of attention. Since the arm extends backwards and the drone head is partially exposed, the dead cat frame is prone to collisions at the drone head, but the Rekon 5 will fly very quickly and flexible
